Bits & Pieces: Gwen- Mid Coast Maine Photographer

The way her fingers gracefully tuck her hair behind her ear. The thing her eyebrows do when she laughs so hard the noise doesn't come out. Her grace as she moves. The way she looks at me and sees right through all of my walls.  She knows everything about me and loves me in spite of it. Or perhaps because of it. When friendships span as many years as our has, these are the things I see and I am so grateful for.  Spending three hours together talking with a few (hundred) shutter clicks in between felt like a luxury.
As I moved around her home enjoying the warmth, comfort and familiarity in a strange place, I could see the little pieces of her life, of her path leading to right now.  I am so excited to be able to document the pieces leading to the future. Check back for more photos from our time together here on the blog soon!

Oh, Ali...I had no idea of the shot you took by the window...The purple sphere is one of the few tangible gifts my brother has given me, and I treasure his support in my life. The rock to the left is a heart rock the girls found and gave to me from our time on the lake a couple summers ago...you caught the most personal and beautiful treasures. I am truly humbled by your friendship and love. Thank you, a million times over. I love you.
