Randomness & Gratitude

As we all get ready to spend time with family and friends for the holiday, I thought I would take a minute to share a few things I have found over the past week or so that that I fell in love with, made me laugh, I need to buy or just made me think.

I need these.  I mean, like really really need them. On my front lawn.  With my other light up Christmas flamingos.  Did I mention I love all things flamingo?  I do.  Lots.

I was recently talking with a client about stretch marks and boudoir photographs.  I believe it was the following day I saw this image and read these words.  As I struggle to accept my own stretchmarks, this has helped me put it into perspective.

I am a huge Muppet and Sesame Street fan.  The minute I saw this mug from this Etsy shop, I was smitten.  She has the most amazing stuff for sale, I need to go poke around some more but this guy needs to be on my desk.

I confess I have never been a huge Marley fan, but this quote is amazing.  I wish I had understood this when I was younger because I spent far too much of my life looking for that perfect that doesn't exist.

This just made me laugh.  A lot.  I can never look at rhinos the same....  

This has been an amazing year on so many levels.  I have so much to be grateful for. I get to chase this crazy dream I have with some of the most amazing people behind me and beside me cheering me on.  I have met so many clients who I can now call friends.  I am blessed to document families as they grow and change year after year.  It doesn't get much better than that!! 

 I will be spending tomorrow with my family and reflecting on those things.  And enjoying lots (too much) food and taking just a little longer with loved ones.  I wish you a day of peace, laughter, good food and memories.  Hold on to every last one of them and savor them for that extra moment.
